Last semester, I had the incredible opportunity to create a documentary with my team members Jacquelyn Downey and Cate Bergstrand, under the guidance of Jeffrey Basinger. My roles for this documentary included director, producer, editor, camera operator, and interviewer.

We had the pleasure of working with Cary Institute urban ecologist Dr. Steward Pickett and learning about his extensive work in the field of urban ecology. Working with Dr. Pickett was a wonderful experience; learning about his academic and personal experiences was truly captivating, and I would like to extend a tremendous thank you to Dr. Pickett and The Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies.

This experience has shaped my interests and advanced skills immensely, and I can confidently say it was one of the most formative endeavors of my college career. Though it was a challenge, I could not be prouder of our hard work and dedication throughout the semester.
