About me

Hi! My name is Ava Battinelli, and I am a journalist and photographer based in New Jersey and New York.

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, concentrating in Journalism and minoring in Photography.

Throughout my time at Marist, I also accomplished many feats, such as serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Marist Circle and an assistant editor for Centerfield, completing an internship as a reporter at the New Pine Plains Herald, directing and producing a documentary for the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, and serving as a Communication Student Ambassador.

I recently received my second Certificate of Merit from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for my article, “From City to Città," which was published in the Marist Circle.
